Corrossion
Corrossion compatibility is a serious concern for instrumentation. Negligence can have desasterous consequences where the damage to the equippment might be the least serious!

But the issue of corrossion is complex and covers much more then the chemical compatibility. Even the chemical compatibility must cover all kinds of corrossin not limited on surface corrossion as many compatibility guides do. Pitting, stress-corrossion cracking are jus example of further kinds of corrossion which can affect your instrumentation.
But not only the parts of the instruments which are in direct contact with the process fluid might suffer, environmental influences also deserve consideration:

With a proven record of expertise we advice on:
- chemical compatibility
- electro-chemical corrossion (e.g. "cathodic protection")
- earthing / grounding issues of instrumentation and their cabeling
